Articling Student (commencing August 2019)
In the spring of 2019 I will have graduated from the Osgoode Hall Law School and begin my articling placement under Mr. Afolabi. Once I have completed my articling placement with Mr. Afolabi, I will be a member of the bar in June 2020. I developed a passion for criminal law while studying criminology at the University of Toronto, and upon entering law school, I have worked diligently to further develop my knowledge and understanding of the criminal justice system.
I know that being charged with a criminal offence is a chilling and nerve-racking experience like no other. Having worked at the Crown’s office as a student, I know the crushing burden of the state against accused person. That is why I make myself available at all times to assist in reviewing disclosure, making adjournments, and answering any questions you may have about the process.
When you stand to lose your freedom, it is absolutely crucial that you choose the right team to protect your interests. As part of the legal team here, I am committed to working tirelessly in preparing your case and standing alongside you throughout the entire process.
